My contest submission for and for the PrimalGard art contest. A variant on existing artwork. The original lore of the character is that they are a Jungle Guardian that can make your opponent play a card that you select. I ran with the idea of a "hypnotist psychic" and built off that. The original had a swirling eye, but I wanted to convey something a bit more supernatural, and remembered the eye effect used in that terrible mummy movie with Tom Cruise. The original also had some light armor, but with this character being based on a Tarsier Lemur, I chose something a bit more covering and flowy. I actually took heavy inspo from Piccolo from DBZ. Some lore: "Supplies from unknown worlds appear in limited quantities. We fight for the strength that they could bring, now look into my eyes...". 👁🌀👁

✨️ ᠻꪖ꠸᥅ꪗ ꪑꪖᧁ꠸ᥴ ✨️ my latest tattoo assignment was to create a fairy how ever I wanted. It's no surprise to anyone at this point that I love and . I really love the designs of and so I decided to mash up both in my usual chunky line style.

Created Lore: A magically mini creature that is a spirit of nature. Choosing to conceal their face under a mask as a way to honor and be protected by their ancestors. They are typically peacful, but will use there ornate claws to shred beings that would do them or anyone harm. ❤️🧚‍♀️ 💀

For my design I took inspiration again from “Xolotl”, The / God of fire, lightning, monsters, twins, sickness, deformities and death. Like the Egyptian God “Anubis”, was depicted as a dog headed being who would help guide souls after death. He is also the twin of the head “ ”. They are also seen as the one of the elemental cardinals, them being the air element.

Without going too into ; There is one story that is the main inspiration for this design, “The Creation of Humanity”. To keep things brief: The Gods had physical bodies, but when it was decided to create humans, they had to die. They had to move onto the next world making way for the creation of humans. The Gods would become Beings, leaving the physical world behind, but Xolotl did not want to crossover.

Xolotl transformed into many things, but was always eventually discovered. Eventually they decided to escape into the lakes. They transformed themselves into a new creature, what we now call an “ ”. Eventually Xolotl was found and sacrificed, When the rest of gods sacrificed themselves, the age of people began.

has been on my mind a lot lately. My father passed away recently, he was sick, he had cancer among many other illnesses; but the thing that took his life was a simple heart attack. I’ve had my own health scares recently, and though things will always work out, one way or another. The thought of feeling while at the same time, feeling the fear of death has been part of my regular daily thoughts. This design is of someone who felt as though they could live forever, but could not. Trying their best to fight against the inevitable, but ultimately succumbing to what is coming for everyone.

It’s ok to be scared, it’s ok to keep moving forward and . and loss will always be a part of our lives, whether or not we let those dark thoughts consume us is what will guide us. With every new step that we take, every new path that we are offered; and Death are one of the only cemented things in our lives, but what we do with the time that we have is up to us. ✌🏼

New Kaiju Flash! I re-did some of my initial designs, and made Red King- actually red. I'm going to start tattooing people in a few weeks! The only downside is that it's only line tattoos for now, but hopefully by the time I learn color packing I can fill these in.
