Carly Home

Some pieces sit in the studio for years before they’re ready to be born. Oak Tendrils is one of them.
I painted these while Ryan and I were living in our little romantic carriage house in Ojai….before we bought our first home, before our first baby, before so much of what came next. It’s strange and beautiful to watch a pattern finally meet its moment. I have been so excited to finally welcome it to the Carly Home print library!

The new Oak Tendril print, a dark charcoal that is nearly black with grey on an ivory ground. Quieter than what I usually paint, a palette I do not typically reach for but one I love, and one that feels unmistakably Carly Home. It might even be the one for our bedroom.
