Florence, Omaha's most historically rich neighborhood, is opening its doors this weekend and you won't want to miss it.

The Omaha History Farm is part of Florence Days, May 15th and 16th, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Come walk the grounds, see the house, and check in on the preservation progress firsthand. This is Omaha history you can actually experience, and it only survives when the community shows up for it.

I'm really excited to be part of this event for the first time, and I'd love to see you there.

Florence Days. May 15-16. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. See you at the Omaha History Farm.

This Fremont Omaha bedroom has all the vintage charm I love, original fireplace with that full-length mirror detail, and a connected pink bathroom that's absolutely wonderful. The tilework, the fixtures, the character details... they just don't build them like this anymore. If you're looking for character homes Omaha with rooms that tell a story, this one's worth seeing.

This Wyman Heights home in Omaha has a prohibition cellar with exposed brick, arched ceilings, and stories I want to know everything about. But that's just the beginning. Three bedrooms, one bathroom, a one-car garage, and nearly half an acre of land at $225,000. For Omaha real estate right now, this is a genuinely rare find.

Fremont, NE historic homes – This 1880s Victorian has a formal receiving room, a space built specifically for guests to wait while the family prepared to greet them. Pocket doors would close off this area from the rest of the home, a glimpse into social culture of the 1800's

The layout tells the story: music room, library, wide vestibule, intentional separation. They didn't need all that formality, but they built for it anyway.

This beautiful home is for sale and ready for the next chapter of it's story.
