📢📢📢 TIME FOR
The folks over at reached out to me and asked if I would like to try out one of their heavy duty waxed canvas shop aprons and then to also host a giveaway for one! I have wanted a shop apron for a long time, but always saw it as a luxury item va a necessity item.
This is going to help me from spending sooo much time searching for the things I'd like close at hand. With a pretty competitive price of entry on this it makes a lot of sense to try out a heavy duty waxed canvas apron. I've used it for about 4 days now and can say that it fits well. I'm 5'-8" and this would easily fit a wide range of individuals. I zip tied the excess strapping so it's not dangling all over the places.
Anyways, now to the good stuff! Like this post and tag a buddy in the comments who you think would enjoy a shop apron. I also would appreciate it if follow both me and
One entry for each comment with a unique person tagged (don't tag big accounts like Marc or corporate accounts) max of 20 entries. I retain the right to void an entry if you're spamming someone so don't be that guy... No giveaway accounts. This giveaway is not affiliated in any way with Instagram. Must be in the continental USA, ships from Texas Canvas Wares.

Where do I begin with the ending of this project? It by far was the most complicated, difficult, time-consuming, and challenging woodworking project that I've ever taken on. It was also extremely rewarding, pushed my knowledge to new limits and has me hungry for the future (after a short breather of course)!
First off, I'd like to thank my customer and friend Andrew for trusting me with this build and additionally for deciding to go with walnut vs stained alder. That was a dream come true!
Next I'd like to thank some friends and fellow woodworkers for their knowledge, tips, advice, support and motivation! Kyle , Ryan , Mike , Keith , Matt .hemmelgarn.1 , Daniel .woodworks and others. Thank you!
Last but not least, a huge thank you to my wife for the support, encouragement, sacrifices you've made throughout this project and also my hobby in general. Love you! @ Omaha, Nebraska
Router table half-lapped joinery FTW!
After cut the edges to the exact width and clearing out the majority of the extra waste out if these, I took it over to my new router plate insert fitted with my new 1617 router that I got for an early Christmas present. The bit is a templating bit I got from the and I'm SOOO glad I figured out I could use the template bearing to keep the bit flush to the sides of the half laps.
Once I got one side done, I dropped the other one in and marked the edge with a marking knife. Then, set the router to the line. This allowed me to set the bit at the exact perfect height without having to measure at all.
