This parent was super receptive & genuinely wanted to understand more about this behaviour. 🐾Unfortunately, a lot the time, vids like this are presented with romanticized misonceptions of ‘love’, ‘protection’, ‘best friends’ ‘play’ etc. 🐾This type of behavior can escalate to being dangerous. 🐾This dog is far too fixated & controlling of this baby’s movement & their arousal (energy) continues to increase as the video continues. 🐾The biggest takeaway is to teach dogs (all dogs/all breeds) & children to respect each others space. 🐾Teach dogs how to be calm/neutral around children & learn how to read subtle dog body language (from professionals, not ‘Uncle Bob’ who’s the self-proclaimed dog whisperer 😬).
