PRAYERS & SUPPORT NEEDED ‼️
On January 8th, we discovered that the home of Nelson Marsh, Mary Katherine Marsh, and Lily Marsh, Wyatt Dean and Rebekah Dean, Jonny Whyte and Hannah Leigh Whyte, and Renae Roach was on fire.
All of these people are young ambitious Opelikans. Nelson and Mary Katherine have just opened Piedmont on Piedmont, Hannah is an anchor of Side Track Coffee and Johnny an anchor of the O Grows Community Garden and Wyatt and Becky are in the process of opening a ramen shop on 10th street.
After this devastating tragedy, these incredible individuals and their families are left with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Starting over is never easy, especially as couples and families who have poured their hearts into building something meaningful for our town.
A GoFundMe page has been created to support them as they rebuild their lives. https://www.gofundme.com/f/rebuild-lives-aid-for-opelika-fire-victims?attribution_id=sl:c310e9ae-f8fc-4669-8dd1-148264f63d5e&utm_campaign=man_sharesheet_dash&utm_medium=customer&utm_source=copy_link
Please consider helping by sharing this post and contributing to the GoFundMe if you're able. Every little bit counts, and together, we can help them get back on their feet.
Above all, please keep Nelson, Mary Katherine, Lily, Hannah, Johnny, Wyatt, Becky, and Renae in your prayers during this challenging time. Let’s rally around them with the love and support they so deeply deserve. 🙏
