Everything I am begins with you.
Happy Mother’s Day.
As the season wraps up for the Orlando Magic, I just wanted to share a moment from this season that really meant a lot to me and my family.
I was honored as a Diversity Gamechanger for my books, and honestly… it’s something I’ll always carry with me.
But the best part was watching my little girls who all love basketball, experience this moment with me. Everyone may have been watching me, but on the court I had the perfect view of them… and I’ll never forget the light in their eyes and the smile on their faces.
Being born and raised in Orlando, I still remember the Orlando Magic coming to my elementary school when I was little… so this just felt really full circle.
Not sure what the future holds, but I’ll always treasure this moment. 🏀💙
