Roger's Rabbit Rescue, Inc.
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue that prioritizes taking in rabbits that have a longer stay at shelters, for reasons such as behavior, age, and breed.
We've received several inquiries about adopting Aubrey, but unfortunately, once potential adopters heard that she needs a nebulizer treatment a few times a week, they decided she wasn't the right fit. βΉοΈ
So we wanted to show everyone just how simple it is to use a nebulizer for bunnies!
All you have to do is add the saline solution to the nebulizer, place the tubing through the door of a carrier or plastic tote, put the bunny inside, and let it mist for about 10 minutes. That's it!
Nebulizers are an excellent preventative for flatter-faced bunny breeds like Holland Lops and dwarfs, which are more prone to respiratory issues. Even better, the saline solution used is an inexpensive over-the-counter sterile saline solution.
Aubrey is a sweet 7-year-old Holland Lop who is looking for a loving retirement home. To help make her transition as easy as possible, her nebulizer and saline solution will go home with her at adoption.
Please share this post to help educate others about nebulizers for bunnies, and most importantly, to help Aubrey find the forever home she deserves!

Fostering Saves Lives! We are still looking for more compassionate foster homes to help bunnies in need.
Fostering is one of the most rewarding ways to make a difference, and we provide all of the supplies. No prior bunny experience is necessary. Whether you can foster for a few weeks or a few months, every foster home helps us save more lives.
We are located in Oshkosh, WI.

Celine is our longest term bunny guest right now! Unfortunately, black bunnies tend to get overlooked at rescues and we can't figure out why. We think Celine is gorgeous!
Celine has spent almost her entire life in rescue after arriving as a stray at another rescue over a year ago. Although she's only been with us for a few months, she has truly blossomed in foster care. She loves being petted, enjoys being the center of attention, and is more than ready to find a family of her own.
Please share to help Celine find the loving home she deserves.

All of our bunnies are spayed/neutered, RHDV2 vaccinated, and microchipped. Please share to help Marty find the loving forever home he deserves.

Though Sage & Sebastian's adoption fell through last week, these sweet 5-month-old siblings aren't letting it dampen their spirits! They continue to enjoy every day with their foster mom and even made a new doggy friend!
S&S are incredibly loving, super outgoing, and have so much love to give. They would make wonderful first-time bunnies, do great with children, and are even comfortable around dogs.
These adorable buns are more than ready to find the forever home they've been waiting for. π

Wow, thank you to our amazing supporters who donated over 60 pounds of hay after Roger Rabbit made a post about us being down to the last bag!
And they even threw in a few bonus items of food and treats! We greatly appreciate the support and generosity of our bunny community. π

Gemma aced her wellness exam this morning at the Animal Medical Center! Thank you to Dr. Keri and the wonderful staff. We truly appreciate everything you do!
Just a friendly reminder that bunnies should have an annual wellness exam with a bunny-savvy veterinarian. These yearly checkups can help detect health concerns early and ensure your bunny stays hoppy and healthy for years to come.
Sunday Bunday Fun Fact brought to you this week by Gemma! Did you know that bunnies should drink from a water bowl instead of a bottle?
Water bowls allow bunnies to drink in a natural, ground-level posture, which encourages higher water intake and prevents neck strain, dental issues, and dehydration.
Be sure to use a heavy ceramic bowl to prevent your bunny from tipping it over, and always provide fresh water every day.

πΊπΈ Hoppy 4th of July from Roger Rabbit! πΊπΈ
Just a friendly reminder that fireworks can be extremely stressful and scary for animals. Please consider sticking to sparklers or other low-noise festivities instead of loud fireworks.
Thank you for helping make the holiday a little less frightening for pets. Have a safe, fun, and Hoppy 4th of July!
