Clay Hrdy

One of the strongest Rockets on the team physically, Clay also holds the mental composure required for success at the catcher position. His arm strength is beyond his age and will be a threat throwing players out attempting to steal second base this season. He also uses this strength from the mound pitching and while playing outfield, typically skipping a cut off man on an accurate throw into the infield. Hrdy recently ended a tournament game by stealing home on a passed ball against New Albany. He was charged by his teammates at the plate as they celebrated the victory.

Favorite School Subject: Science

Clay enjoys playing video games, visiting Lake Erie, and hanging with his brothers. He will be busy wrestling and keeping up with baseball this winter. The young ball player has been known to slam some B-Dubs boneless wings.

Lucas Miglesz

When it’s game time, Lucas is known for keeping his team focused, along with bringing everything to the table in order to bring home a victory. While defending the outfield, he robs hard hit balls. Against the Merchants this fall, he caught a shot hit to centerfield, protecting his brother as he challenged the team from the mound. Lucas has a high level of game time awareness, knowing why various baseball scenarios are happening during play. He utilizes this strength to his advantage as he seizes opportunities that will support his team on and off the field.

When Lucas isn’t on the baseball field, you’ll probably find him building epic Lego creations, reading a good book, writing his own stories, or playing video games. He loves animals and has a huge heart for both people and pets. Whether he’s playing sports in the yard with his brothers or just being a positive force for those around him, Lucas brings great energy and kindness wherever he goes!
