Tonight (Sunday) at Timucua Arts at 7:30 PM as one song among 8 others, is my premiere of José Marti's "Yo Soy Un Hombre Sincero" (“I am a sincere man”). It celebrates the power and morality of being connected with our land and speaking from the heart. It sings that morality requires that we affirm the dignity of the oppressed, and embracing suffering as a root of wisdom.
