a strong but honest truth: If you love the Lord… you won’t be comfortable with evil. Loving God isn’t just a feeling. It changes what you allow, what you excuse, and what you walk away from.
You start noticing things you used to overlook.
You feel conviction where you once felt nothing.
You begin to desire what honors Him.
And here’s the promise attached to that kind of love:
“He guards the lives of His faithful ones delivers them from the hand of the wicked.”
When you choose God’s way over the world’s way, you’re not walking alone. You’re walking protected. Guarded. Delivered.
Today, let your love for God shape your choices. Because loving Him changes what you tolerate—and invites His protection over your life.

I think on some level all of us struggle with this whole “getting healthy” thing.
I’ve been learning recently that we aren't made to get stuck in a state of defeat and just give up when it comes to our weight. We were made to walk in victory. This doesn't mean these paths won't be riddled with struggles that we'll need to learn to overcome. They will. But, the lessons learned though overcoming are some of God's greatest gifts.
For some of us, having a weight issue is simply an outside indication of an internal struggle. Just like debt for the over-spender or an overstuffed house for a hoarder.
Today I want to take steps toward victory. Don’t you? Whether we're on the path of victory or defeat is determined by the very next choice we make. May it be that of an overcomer.

"The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it. 1 Thessalonians 5:24"

Life can feel heavy. The news is overwhelming, and sometimes it seems like trouble is all around us. Yet David reminds us to sing of God’s strength—not just when life is easy, but especially in the morning, at the start of a new day, when we choose to focus on His love. God is our fortress—a safe place we can run to. He is our refuge—a shelter when storms rage.
Singing isn’t just about music; it’s about choosing to lift our hearts and minds to God, declaring His power and love over our lives.
Today, when fear or stress tries to take hold, sing to Him—out loud or in your heart—and remember: no matter the trouble, God is stronger, and He is your safe place.
Your morning song can set the tone for a day of victory.
