Yesterday I had the honor in helping some dear friends celebrate summer. This was a fun way for me for to express my hidden culinary gangster.
We had an all day charcuterie grazing island. This island was a non stop graze of cured meats and some yummy cheeses which we paired oh so well with an array of cornichons and olives. We also had a traditional Mexican fiesta bar with all the stops. We served rice, beans, elote, charred veggies, steak, chicken and quesadillas. All were served up in a recycled bowl.
Think chipotle but 1000 times better.
Did I mention we had fresh tortilla chips and chicharron? Then topped with fresh Guacamole, mango salsa and salsa verde. If that wasn’t enough we ended to evening with fresh churros, exotic fruit and endless Mexican candy. Mexican soda, beer and fresh Paloma’s were flowing throughout the night.
