Pacoca's world is about to change.

His family recently welcomed a new baby, and although they love him dearly, they can no longer give this energetic young boy the time and attention he needs. Now, this sweet pup is looking for a foster home where he can land softly, feel safe, and continue being the happy, playful dog he was born to be.

At almost 2 years old, Pacoca is everything you love about a young Cocker Spaniel—full of life, endlessly affectionate, and always ready for his next adventure.

🎾 He loves to play.
🐶 He enjoys other dogs and would thrive with a playful canine companion.
💙 He adores his people and is just as happy cuddling on the couch after a day of fun.
🌳 His favorite place? A backyard where he can run, explore, and show off his famous zoomies!

Pacoca is looking for a foster home with:

🏡 A securely fenced yard
🐾 Another playful dog to be his buddy
👧 Children over 10 years old
🛏️ A crate for downtime and routine
🐱 A home without cats, or one willing to carefully evaluate introductions

He will also need surgery to repair his cherry eye, and Rocky Mountain Cocker Rescue will provide the veterinary care and support he needs.

The hardest part of rescue isn't finding dogs who need help...

It's finding enough people willing to open their homes.

Pacoca doesn't need perfection. He just needs someone willing to give him a chance.
