The girls and I made sourdough loaves last night. They turned out delicious. Not sure we are patient enough for all the fermenting, but we didn't make gooey hockey pucks, so I'd say it was a win! 😀

With the warmer weather, porcupine encounters are becoming more common—just like this hardworking livestock guardian dog who needed our help after a painful run-in. If you’re out with your dogs, especially in the evenings or early mornings, keep an eye out for porcupines. They’re slow-moving but quick to defend themselves! A few tips: ✔️ Keep dogs on a leash in areas where porcupines are common. ✔️ If your dog does get quilled, don’t try to remove them at home—quills have barbs that can break off and migrate deeper.
