A new 2-day workshop (August 14 & 21) - Using Opaques!
The subject of using white in watercolor can be taboo in some circles. That's too bad because it can look so good. Watercolor can be used transparently, translucently, and opaquely, depending on what suits the artist.
Great artists such as Nolde, Sargent, and Turner used opacities in their work freely without condemnation. We will explore different ways to use opaques and talk about the do's and don't and why. It's 2023, so let's paint our way!
