Friday: The Price That was Paid
Read: Luke 23:33–47
Good Friday is the day of the cross. Jesus, the sinless Son of God, willingly suffers and dies in our place. What looked like defeat was actually the fulfillment of God’s plan for redemption. At the cross, we see both the seriousness of sin and the depth of God’s love. Jesus did not stay on the cross because He had to,but because He chose to save us.
Application:
Pause and reflect on the cross today. Thank Jesus personally for His sacrifice, and let that gratitude shape how you live, love, and forgive others.
