Dear younger self,
I know you spend a lot of time wondering who you’ll marry.
You imagine what he’ll look like, what he’ll be like, and what your life together will become. What you don’t know yet is that life will take you places you never expected to go.
You’ll experience love, loss, growth, and healing.
You’ll become a mother, and your children will be among the greatest gifts of your life. Some chapters won’t last forever, but they will still matter.
So stop worrying about how the story unfolds.
Trust the journey.
One day you’ll look back and realize that every twist, every heartbreak, every blessing, and every lesson was leading you exactly where you were meant to be.
And you’ll be grateful for all of it.
One of my most beautiful stories didn’t end the way I hoped. But even with a different ending, it’s still a love story.
Grief doesn’t always sound like crying. Sometimes it sounds like silence, exhaustion, or pretending you’re okay because explaining the pain feels impossible.
