Empathy - This is the most difficult soft skill to teach others. Having empathy means you’re putting yourself in the shoes of another to understand their feelings - positive or negative. Frontline employees, or any employee working with peers or clientele - need to be keen on their communication delivery. Great customer service comes from being able to relate to customers while limiting transactional experiences. It could potentially cost your company money and it’s reputation.
