We had another successful event last week on Cinco de Mayo during our candidate Meet and Greet at Chase's Hop Shop!
I enjoyed meeting with community members who came in to meet me and enjoy the delicious tacos and frozen margarita slushes from one of my favorite shops along the Rising Sun Avenue commercial corridor!

A huge shout out to 35th Democratic Ward Leader, Bill Dolbow, our committee people, friends and supporters for being there!!

It was a great fundraiser and a wonderful way to celebrate my 50th birthday!! I’m truly blessed to live in such a great community and have such wonderful friends!!

I was happy to be invited to celebrate the beginning of Asian Pacific Heritage Month and the flag raising ceremony at our new American Chinese Museum located at 7345 Oxford Avenue, but I was honored when asked to speak about my campaign for the 203rd district!
I feel fortunate to be surrounded by good people here in our community and for the relationships that I’ve formed over the years of community service and activism!
This addition to the community is especially important for me due to the fact that my two oldest children and my grandchildren are part Asian. I’m looking forward to visiting the museum with my family once it’s open to the public.
