Voting: fun for the whole family!

Serving as a State Representative is about more than showing up for ribbon cuttings and photo-ops. It's about serving the people, not special interest groups and lobbyists. I am running for State Representative because these important values: transparency, civility, and the desire to serve the public, are too rare in Harrisburg.

I will stand up to lobbyists and large corporations that want to keep government in their pocket. I will be open and honest with those I serve. I will hold regular and publicly announced town halls, so you can ask me questions easily to find out what’s going on in Harrisburg and let me know about issues that matter to you.

Right now, legislators from different parties barely talk to each other and it has become more about serving the party than serving the public. This lack of civility and common decency is part of the reason nothing gets done in government. I will work across party lines with everyone who focuses on the values that hold us together as a community.

Public service has always been a large part of my life. From my Eagle Scout service project all the way through my volunteer work as an attorney for children in the foster system, I've enjoyed giving back to the community and helping people. I’m running for State Representative to continue that public service on a larger scale.

If elected, I will go to Harrisburg and work hard for the people I represent every day. I will stand up to the special interests, and fight to end the culture of corruption in Harrisburg.
