Made 50 bags for Uplift yesterday! Thanks everyone for joining and volunteering with us! The bags will get picked up sometime this week!

WOOO! Come get into the spooky 👻spirit with PennFems by making fall themed goodie bags for the kids of the Uplift Center for Grieving Children! We will be making goodie bags filled with daily essentials and fall themed treats. 🍂 🍁

All bags will be donated to the Uplift Center, which is a Philadelphia mental health service. They offer free therapeutic grief groups led by Master’s-level clinicians who provide trauma-responsive and healing-centered support. Groups allow youth and families to express their grief through non-judgmental discussions, creative activities, grounding techniques, and other forms of therapeutic support.

Come make shrinky-d***s with us next Wednesday!!!! We’ll have all supplies provided and some templates for people to use!
