Black poets,
Tomorrow is the last day.
Cave Canem, in collaboration with Slover Linett at NORC, is conducting a national Black Poet Census that closes tomorrow, July 8.
If you’ve ever wondered why so much of what Black poets build disappears from the record, this is one opportunity to help change that.
This isn’t about who’s published the most books, who’s won the most awards, or who’s gone viral. It’s about documenting the people doing the work. The writers, performers, teachers, organizers, editors, mentors, publishers, open mic hosts, & everyone helping shape this community in real time.
