I stood still on that log—
balancing not just my body,
but the stories I carry.

The sun didn’t just shine.
It kissed my skin
like a grandmother’s hug—
warm, knowing,
ancestral.

There I was…
Not lost.
Not broken.
Just quiet enough to hear
the whisper of my own becoming.

Water beneath me.
Earth beneath that.
Spirit rising above.

This is what it looks like
to pray with your body,
to affirm with your breath,
to remember yourself out loud.

I found my voice
not in the noise,
but in the pause.
