the Phillies announced the following roster moves:

Recalled outfielder Gabriel Rincones Jr. from triple-A Lehigh Valley and will wear No. 17

Placed outfielder Adolis García on the 60-day injured list with a right latissimus dorsi tear

Outfielder Derek Hill reported to the club and will wear No. 49

Placed outfielder Steward Berroa on the paternity list

Andrew Bellati is retiring from baseball after suffering a set back during his comeback in independent ball.

Bellati tore his ulnar collateral ligament last month while pitching for the Cleburne Railroaders of the American Association.

He plans to release a official statement thanking all the organizations he spent time with during his career. He will also give a special appreciation for the Phillies and their fans.

Bellati posted a 3.31 ERA in 59 appearances during the 2022 season, in 8 outings in the post season he allowed just one run and appeared in 3 games in the World Series.

Always sucks to see players careers end this way.
