Today was a strong example of what partnership looks like in action across Northwest.

The men and women of the 14th Police District, alongside our Community Relations Bureau, rolled up their sleeves for the Philly Spring Cleanup 2026 at Finley Recreation Center in Mount Airy. This wasn’t just about cleaning a space—it was about investing in a community we serve every day.

From clearing debris to refreshing shared spaces, the work done today helps create a safer, more welcoming environment for our youth and families. Finley Rec is a cornerstone of Mount Airy, and maintaining it takes all of us working together.

Appreciation to every officer, community member, and volunteer who showed up and put in the work. This is what community policing looks like—presence, partnership, and pride in our neighborhoods.

The standard is excellence—and today, the 14th District delivered.

Officer Heim is more than just a dedicated public servant—he’s my friend and my brother.

A seasoned veteran of the Philadelphia Police Department serving in the Northwest Division, he has committed his life to protecting our communities. But his impact goes far beyond the badge.

For over two decades, he’s been on the baseball field as a coach in the very same neighborhoods he serves—guiding young people, building discipline, and shaping futures.

That’s who he is at his core—consistent, committed, and always giving back.

Proud to stand beside him and call him both a colleague and family.

Honda vehicles are being targeted.

Car thefts can happen in seconds—but a simple step can make all the difference.

🔒 Use a steering wheel lock
🔒 Make your vehicle a harder target
🔒 Stay aware of your surroundings

A visible deterrent can stop a thief before they even try.

Don’t become a victim. Lock it down.
