So blessed to be learning about from .holistic.psychologist
I acknowledge I have much work to do on relearning how to love myself after years of living through trauma. I love the confidence that comes from keeping at least one small promise to myself daily.
Today as I looked up a workout routine to keep one of those promises, my ego was lightning quick to offer excuses not to follow through. I'm thankful to see progress in becoming aware that my ego tries to protect me, but it's not reality nor the boss of me.
I went ahead and did the fitness routine, in the "wrong exercise gear" (as ego labeled it 😂), and I feel great both emotionally and physically.
Ego: We all go through similar struggles, nothing new, why share it?
Me: Well, because for me, I see the inward progress, and healing, for me, is a BIG FAT DEAL.
Small victories. Big wins.
