This summer we had the privilege of meeting some amazing children and adults living with FOP and their families. FOP is a rare and disabling condition where the body’s soft tissue over time becomes replaced with bone. We also were thrilled to spend a day with scientists at UMass who are researching whether gene therapy could be the cure for FOP that these families are desperately hoping for. You can watch all these stories in a 30 minute presentation we produced for the IFOPA’s In Pursuit of a Cure campaign. The video will be streaming this Wednesday and Thursday on Facebook and YouTube.
