Edible Ed
My name is Ed and I have a cooking channel! I cook really fun and delicious food that anyone can mak
Hold onto your tastebuds, because this week on Edible Ed's, I’m rolling out a dish that’s so good, it completely blew my own mind! 🤯 I’m combining two legendary favorites into one epic, crunchy creation: Edible Ed's Notcho Average Crab Rangoons! 🦀✨
I honestly couldn't decide if it smells more like traditional nachos or classic crab rangoons, but I do know it tastes like pure heaven. We’re talking crispy, crunchy wontons loaded up with that rich, creamy crab filling, drizzled with sweet chili and my favorite yum-yum sauce, and topped with pickled jalapeños for that perfect spicy kick! 🔥🌶️
Every single bite hits all the boxes for me:
Crunchy & Crispy 🙌
Sweet & Spicy 🌶️🍯
Salty & Savory! 🤤
I don't usually like to brag, but I’m pretty proud of myself for stepping up the game this week. The only thing that could make this dish taste better is having more of it! 😉Yum! I love you!

What you’re looking at might just look like a frozen green block. But to me? This is gold. This is the foundation. 🇬🇾✨
This is a fresh batch of my Guyanese Green Seasoning. It’s a labor of love blended from rosemary, cilantro, parsley, thyme, green onion, onion, garlic, oil, and a generous shake of my Magic Dust. I make it in massive batches, freeze 'em, bag 'em, and pull them out whenever a dish needs soul. It is the absolute bedrock of every great Guyanese dish, especially a comforting, slow-simmered curry. 😍
But as I was holding this frozen block today, it hit me: Life works the exact same way.
We all want the final masterpiece. We want the rich flavor, the warmth, the celebration at the dinner table. But you can't get the depth of the curry without the quiet, cold prep work of the foundation. 🚧
Sometimes, life asks us to do the heavy lifting in seasons where nobody is watching. We blend our hard work, our sacrifices, our patience, and our love into these quiet blocks of character. We freeze them. We store them away. And when life gets hot—when the pressure is on and the heat is turned up—that foundation thaws. It melts into our lives, bringing out a flavor, a strength, and a resilience we didn’t even know we had stored up. 🔋
If you are in a season of quiet prep right now, don't rush it. Build your foundation. Pour love into the little things. Because when your time comes to step into the heat, you’ll be ready to bring the flavor. Spread Love Like Butter. I love you. 💚

Looking at this bowl of Edible Ed's Rigatoni Balboa & The Heavyweight Meatballs and honestly? It’s a pasta-tively perfect dinner situation. 🍝
I like big meatballs and I cannot lie—especially when they’re hanging out with perfectly sauced ridges and a serious blizzard of fresh parmesan. But the real secret weapon in this bowl? I swapped out traditional ricotta for Los Altos Requesón. That substitution gives it an unbelievably rich, creamy mouthfeel that takes the whole dish to a completely different level. 🤤🇲🇽🇮🇹
This fusion twist didn't just understand the assignment; it graduated summa cm laude from the school of comfort food.
If you need me, I’ll be saucing my way through this bowl until further notice. Anyone else team "there's no such thing as too much cheese"? 🧀👇 Lemme know down below! Yum! I love you!

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the main event! 🚨 In the heavyweight corner, weighing in at "absolutely massive," we have the undisputed champion of the kitchen: Edible Ed's Monster Milanesa Sandy! 🥊
Take a look at that cross-section! This isn't just a sandwich; it’s an origin story. It has more incrEDible layers than a classic comic book event! 💥
We’ve got a tag-team of GBD ribeye milanesa layin' the smackdown, perfectly managed by:
🥑 Creamy avocado & Duke's mayo because details matter
🧅 Tangy pickled onions & pickled jalapeños for that championship kick
🍅 Citrus-marinated tomatoes & crisp lettuce
🌶️ A heavy-hitting chipotle sauce finisher
It’s an absolute bread-winner. I’m bread-y to tackle this beast, but honestly, it’s a rare occasion you see a sandwich this fine. It is a total knockout, and I am definitely clearing my plate.
Can you smell what Edible Ed is cookin’?! 🧑🍳🔥I love you!

Every single night, I count my blessings for four things that might seem contradictions to some, but are everything to me: my joy, my pain, my happiness, and my sorrow. 🎨✨
I painted this piece as a reminder that we aren't just one emotion. We are a beautiful, complex mosaic of all of them. For a long time, I worked purely in lines and ink, but this was the very first piece I ever painted in color. I hung it right next to my bed so it’s the first thing I see when I wake up and the last thing I see before I sleep—a daily reminder of exactly who I am and what I am made of.
Understanding and deeply appreciating these psychological states is what allows me to be empathetic and truly human to the world around me. But more importantly, it taught me how to be gentle with myself. I’ve learned that I cannot truly show love to others if I don’t first learn to love myself—the light, the dark, and everything in between.
Every emotion has a purpose. Every shadow makes the light worth chasing. I'm grateful for the full spectrum of life that I'm livin'. I love you. ❤️
