Though the year’s not over yet, we’d like to take a moment to say thank you...
THANK YOU to all those who have and continue to support our little non-profit spay/neuter clinic. This year has been nothing short of a roller coaster ride for the organization and its amazing team, who are still on track to surpass 6,000 spay/neuter surgeries! 🐾 🐈🐈⬛🐕🦺🐩🐕
Last year, Altered Tails pared down to refocus on our original location and put some much-needed love 😍 back into the building. This year’s needed updates have included a whole new roof 🛠️, electrical ⚡️and a/c maintenance and repairs, kennel drain maintenance, new sinks, and updating a few pieces of clinic furniture for the staff to have real office desks. 🛠️🪚🔧🧰 Clinic upgrades would not have been possible without the support of an amazing funder and ongoing patronage from the public.
🎯 2026 will be a year of continued growth, stability, and strengthening the foundation on which Altered Tails was created. We value our community, their pets, and those in our care.
🐾 From Altered Tails’ Team to you – THANK YOU.🐾
Here are a few snapshots from this year's building improvements and some cuties at our clinic ❤🐾

Thankful Thursday ❤🐾☀️🐕🐈⬛
Today, we’d like to take a moment to say – Thank you – to all who have supported us through the years. Thank you to our rescue partners, community cat caregivers, trappers, and volunteers who help fill our capacity each day, and of course, to our public clients – Thank you, ALL! 🤗
Altered Tails appreciates the patronage over the years and strives to be the clinic you refer to and return to when a new pet enters your life.
This year, we have started making little upgrades to our 70+ year-old building 🛠 We acknowledge the expressed concerns by some for our location’s surroundings; though we cannot change some things, we are working to make building improvements to make Altered Tails a place where our clients feel comfortable leaving their pets, and our staff is proud to work at. Much has changed in the last 18 years since Altered Tails opened its doors on W Hatcher Rd, 85021; however, our dedication to the community, pet owners, and animals has not!
Altered Tails and its AMAZING staff and relief veterinarians are here for your pet’s spay/neuter needs (dogs and cats) and community-cat TNR services.
Thank you, everyone, from the bottom of our hearts and paws🐾More updates to come…soon 😊

**A shout out 📣 to the Altered Tails team who have been with the organization all these years, through the ups and downs, renovation days, cleaning, painting and so much more +plus+ the dedicated relief veterinarians who share the same compassion for helping the animals and are with us during this ride – Altered Tails would not be here without you all…Thank YOU! 🤗
