would you try it? 🙌🏻 don’t forget follow for all the best adventures in Arizona and beyond @jess.kesti96 📍Salome Jug (near Roosevelt, AZ 🥾5.6 miles RT 📈921 ft elevation 💦this hike is considered technical and is rated difficult on All Trails. it involves swimming through deep pools of cold water and scrambling through rocky terrain. to complete the hike you must either rappel or be able to do a 25ft cliff jump into a deep pool of water. the best time to do this hike is late spring (May) due to optimal water levels and temperatures. ⚠️it’s important to do your research beforehand so you can be adequately prepared. not suitable for young children or those afraid of heights. make sure you have sturdy footwear, plenty of water and sunscreen and a dry bag for the items you don’t want getting wet. ⛈️check the weather forecast before attempting this hike as slot canyons are prone to flash flooding. be respectful of others and always leave it better than you found it. #arizonahiking #arizonaadventures #arizonasbest #roamtheplanet #slotcanyon #thingstodoinarizona #explorearizona #bucketlistadventures 05/06/2025
