They told us the backcountry roads wouldn't translate to the big stage. They told us you need fancy tracks, heart monitors, and a crowded city gym to build a champion.

Today, the dirt roads answered back.

Took 1st Place at the Valley Games and left a new course record in the dirt. When you train old school, you don’t just run to win—you run to change the standard.

Huge shoutout to the organizers—the event was so much fun and incredibly well ran. It was a true privilege to line up and run today.

MONTHLY DOSE OF GRIND | MAY 2026 ⚡


The weather doesn't dictate the work. May brought heavy rain that forced us onto the indoor bike a lot more than usual, but the grind didn't stall—it just adapted. When the storm cleared, we took that built-up engine to the pavement and the backcountry dirt roads, putting in the raw miles where it counts.

The highlight of the month was a hard-fought 2nd place finish. It's proof that the discipline is paying off, but we aren't satisfied. A podium finish just means it's time to work harder, adjust the focus, and keep chasing the standard. No fancy facilities, no excuses—just pure grit and an unflinching pursuit of the ultimate goal.
