Andrew’s Story
Andrew grew up in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania. He was a 1996 graduate of Waynesburg Central High School. He was a graduate of the Indiana University of Pennsylvania Academy and was a trained accident investigator.
An Iraq war veteran, he served as a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army Reserve from 1997 until 2005 with the 363rd Military Police Combat Support and was honorably discharged.
Prior to moving to Texas, Rameas worked as a Greene County sheriff's deputy, an officer for Carmichaels and Belle Vernon boroughs and a federal officer in Pittsburgh.
Officer Rameas joined the Harker Heights Police Department in August 2009 after serving as a police officer with the North Belle Vernon Police Department in Pennsylvania, the Department of Veterans Affairs and at Fort Hood..
