We are so excited to announce our newest Harvie producer, Community Kitchen Pittsburgh. This organization plays such an integral role in the Pittsburgh local food economy, and we look forward to supporting their mission.

Their culinary training programs give people the skills and wraparound support that they need to get back into the workforce. At the same time, CKP prepares and delivers over 400,000 meals a year to food insecure and low income individuals, families, and children throughout Allegheny County.

This week, you can pre-order two new products from Community Kitchen Pittsburgh’s production: Stuffed Pork Chops and Maple Sausage Breakfast Patties. These products are sourced through Harvie partner, Birch Creek Farmery, and are cut and prepared in their onsite butchery training program. The training program works with local certified master butcher, Unified Fields, to give trainees butchery skills. Every purchase directly supports their mission work and their trainees!
