Anyah Nancy is an American Neo-Jazz singer renowned for her soulful and rich tone.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA, and nurtured in the church, her voice carries the profound influence of iconic vocalists like Nina Simone and Billie Holiday. Together with her band, Anyah masterfully blends traditional Black Jazz with Modern Soul, creating a sound that is both timeless and contemporary.

Following the release of her acclaimed debut album, “Sounds Like Honey” (2025), Anyah has emerged as one of the most compelling new voices in modern Jazz and Soul. The album showcases her ability to weave vulnerability, power, and grace into every note, offering listeners a deeply emotive musical experience.

From her roots in Pittsburgh to the international stage around the world, Anyah Nancy continues to captivate audiences with her artistry, authenticity, and the deep emotional connection she brings to every performance. “Sounds Like Honey” marks not just the beginning of her recording career, but the arrival of a singular voice redefining the sound of Neo-Jazz.

It has always been an intention of mine to be the person I needed growing up to those coming behind me. I am so excited to announce that my mentee Aryana was accepted and will attend The GRAMMY Museum GRAMMY CAMP 2024, July 14-20 ; Aa creative camp for aspiring youth musicians, writers and professionals to gain industry insight, and access to educational, music and networking opportunities. Aryana is one of 83 nationwide young creatives, who will attend this year. I am so honored to be her guardian for this trip.

Aryana is a rising Pittsburgh high school senior whose gifts and acumen far surpass that of a 17 year old. She’s an incredibly gifted songwriter, rapper, vocalist, dancer and thespian. She has a bright future ahead of her but we have an ask—
