Congratulations to Manfred Honeck on his new contract with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra taking him to 2033, and 25 yrs. as conductor!

The unofficial kickoff to Summer is here! The pools will be packed, barbeque grills fired up, and outdoor activity's galore going on------- if your not in Pittsburgh! It's gonna be a washout for pretty much the whole weekend here, starting Friday morning, and not stopping until Monday afternoon! Pope has always done ribs this weekend, but going to have to come up with plan B this year. Might just hit our favorite bbq shack here in the south hills (Rowdy BBQ), and let them do the cooking! What ever your plans are, please do it safely, and hopefully by the 4th of July, things are a little better!
