Dear Friends,

On behalf of my family and constituents, I am eager and grateful to announce my candidacy for State Representative in Legislative District 55. My role in governance began in 2022, when I was honored to be elected to serve on Murrysville Council. My campaign pledge to protect taxpayers and uphold conservative values is evidenced by my voting record on Council; and, that’s what voters should expect. I protected the rights of property owners by eliminating zoning restrictions written in the short-term rental ordinance. Fiscally, I opposed the costly amphitheater project and blocked unisex bathrooms in municipal parks. As a private citizen, I have consistently fought to protect parental rights–in and out of school. Family is important!

My family and I have been Murrysville residents for twenty-six years, where I remain actively involved in the community. My husband, Bob, and I have four children. I have served on the Franklin Regional Swimming and Diving Booster Board (10 yrs.), the Pastoral Council at Mother of Sorrows Church (7 yrs.), and various other boards such as Murrysville Swimming Club and Penn Trafford Aqua Club. I am currently a member and treasurer for Westmoreland Federation of Republican Women (WFRW).

I own and operate an active small business and advocate for local small business owners because I understand that communities suffer without the successes of local businesses and the economic growth they stimulate.

My commitment to being the voice of my constituents and not the voice of Harrisburg’s lobbyists is steadfast. I will bring integrity and fiscal conservatism to the legislative role that once used to be a “public servant position.”

You cannot be called a public servant when your votes turn your constituents into the servants of the government. As your representative, I will oppose compromised leaders who approve burdensome budgets. Hard-working citizens have a right to keep more of what they earn!

Just as I made a pledge as a Councilwoman and kept it, I will make the same pledge and stand by it as a State Representative.
