When the 71,000 # silo lid had been compromised and dangling 76 feet in the air over the boiler system for the entire plant, the Emergency Response Teams from SPSI, KPB, and AC&R dove into action.

Homerun job by entire crew working in unison for a successful tactical demolition without any hits, drip, or errors while braving the elements, 70 mph winds, with continual fire threat.

Joshua is 9 years old and a young hero fighting cancer at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh with the rare, but special dream of piloting a crane. For many years we’ve partnered with Pennies from Heaven to ease financial hardships for parents so that they can stay with their children in the hospital. Upon learning of Joshua’s dream. Allegheny Crane & Rigging owner Kyrk Pyros met Joshua and made it a reality. Joshua said it was “the best day ever.”
