You can find a permanent copy of Quiet Storm Book at the main branch of the Carnegie Library in Oakland. (It is for in-library use only.)
And soon, the book, along with archival photos & menus, will be part of the Heinz History Center’s local artifacts collection! It’s truly an honor to be cemented in Pittsburgh’s halls of history.

Hi, it’s Jilly. Happy new year!
It’s happening.
Every time I set out to post about the follow-up to Quiet Storm Book since, oh I guess November 5th, I couldn’t bring myself to talk about recipes.
Nonetheless I’ve remained in the warm embrace of the kitchen, truly a sanctuary in these tumultuous times. I’ve combed through the semi-organized QS archives to put together a wicked good collection of 40 recipes: Quiet Storm favorites, theme brunch & supper hits, catering all-stars & comfort food from around the world, with an updated Resources list.
That’s about all I know for now, aside from there will be free stuff too. I’ll be back at it in a couple
