The ReEngage conference empowers veterans to embrace their post-military purpose and take the next st

07/18/2022

Several people have asked me recently why I decided to go in a new direction with ReEngage this year...

In case you haven't heard yet, instead of a big conference, I'm hosting an adventure retreat for a small group of veterans in Zion National Park this summer.

Why?

Well, I have personally experienced and witnessed healing through participating in profound experiences in nature with other veterans.

Being able to disconnect from the world and allow yourself to just BE clears your mind, it gives you a new frame to view your challenges, and it gives you a new perspective to address the issues in your life.

During these experiences, I became aware of how I was holding myself back from reaching my higher potential and going after what I truly desire.

When I also opened up to other veterans about the challenges and struggles in my life, it was powerful.

It challenged me to be vulnerable and to then get honest with myself about what's really blocking me. And to see what else is possible for me. That I am capable of more.

Being vulnerable and admitting you want more isn't necessarily an easy thing for a veteran to do. We're taught to be stoic.

And for a long time, I thought I should be grateful to just be breathing because not all of my brothers still are. So I didn't allow myself to want more for my life.

But when I became a father last year... it raised the stakes.

When I met my little girl, I knew I wanted to be the best father to her I could possibly be. And I want to be the best husband for my wife.

Me being the best husband and father I can be includes role modeling how to live life fully and to provide an environment of love and fulfillment in my house.

I also want to let go of all of my regrets and live my life to the fullest....

Because I DID get more time on this earth.

My only regrets from the military that remain today are the things I chose not to do. The times I chose not to pursue my greater potential.

This is a pattern that is evident in the "5 Regrets of the Dying" - in their last moments, humans regret the chances they didn't take and the experiences they didn't have.

Not the things they did do.

So now, I am taking the next steps into my own higher potential by leading this retreat experience for other veterans...

I'm fired up to share the lessons I've learned as I've worked on myself over the last 5 years and to receive other veterans' perspectives on life and possibility in return.

I'm fired up to connect more with other veterans who desire to live life to the fullest, to reach their next level of potential, and to experience more adventure together while lifting each other up as a team.

And I'm fired up to see even more what I am truly capable of, alongside of other veterans who are doing the same.

If this speaks to you, I want to connect with you directly about our ReEngage Retreat Experience.

This program is not for everyone. You must be ready to invest in yourself and to go all in for overcoming the challenges that are deterring you from becoming the next best version of yourself.

If you are drawn to this, if you want to know more, send me a DM or comment below.

And I will get you scheduled on a call for us to talk directly and determine together if this is a fit.

Program enrollment ends next Monday, July 25, 2022.

I'm looking forward to hearing from you!
