βMusic ministry is not simply a role to fill or a talent to shareβit is a vocation, a calling from God to serve through beauty, prayer, and song. Those who answer this call do more than make music; they give voice to the faith of the Church, helping others to pray when words alone are not enough. In every rehearsal, every hymn, every quiet moment of preparation, there is a deeper βyesβ being spokenβa willingness to let oneβs gifts become a vessel for something greater. We remember this truth in light of the inspiration of Fr. Jim, whose life as a musician reflected the heart of this calling. He showed that music ministry is not about performance, but about offeringβlifting minds and hearts to God and drawing a community together in worship. His legacy reminds us that when music is rooted in faith, it becomes more than sound; it becomes prayer, service, and a lasting witness to the presence of God.β ππ’π―πͺπ¦π ππ°π·π’π€πͺπ€, ππͺπ³π¦π€π΅π°π³ π°π§ ππΆπ΄πͺπ€ Resurrection Parish Music Ministry

βThose who are called to the table of the Lord must glow with the brightness that comes from the good example of a praiseworthy and blameless life. They must learn from the eminent teacher, Jesus Christ.β
