I feel like this needs to be said again. ANIMAL RIGHTS and ANIMAL WELFARE are not the same. In order for a being to have RIGHTS, that being needs to be able to exercise RESPONSIBILITY. Hell, that is difficult for a lot humans to exercise, why on earth would we want to put that burden on an animal? A good farmer, hunter, fisherman, or even a pet owner is the steward. They are the ones who exercise responsibility, yet their rights are being chipped away at everyday.
I don’t worry about PETA. They are a clown show and anyone with a brain can see it. I worry about other groups. They sound like they also favor welfare, like the Humane Society of the United States. Their director of animal cruelty said, “My goal is the abolition of all animal agriculture.” Any farmer that works with these guys is a fraud and enemy to all other farmers. Why do I say this? Because there are farmers who work with them. Why? Either they are too stupid to understand what HSUS is all about or they know but only care about the immediate return and pretend they are fighting “Big Ag”.
Animals don’t have rights, period. We as farmers, hunters, fishermen, and pet owners do and we need to responsibly exercise these rights to be good stewards of the animals, land, and waterways. Nothing could be more righteous on behalf of the animals than that.

Pyrenees/Anatolian guardians. 7 month old pups ready to take on there own herds. They have been exposed to all farm animals as well as exotics. Yes they have been around poultry, if you choose to leave them unattended however before 2 years old and they kill your chickens cuz you locked them in the coop do not call me thinking I'm going to replace your chickens, and don't shoot the dog. This will be your fault. These pups wander ten acres and have a perimeter fence this is a 4 strand fence on 3 sides they rarely wander outside the perimeter. Once you train them to yours they shouldn't be huge wanders. They do bark, this is their job. These pups parents are working dogs back upto 4 generations. Parents are confirmed coyote killers and have taken cougars, skunks, badgers, bears, and wolves and other large K9 that have threatened there herds. Parents care from up North where we have large predators. Because of the economy and coming holidays I'm taking 100 off their regular price. I also have 18 week old pups not pictured if you want a younger dog.
