As of today, this race is still in full speed! The ballot return count is 20 outstanding, many are promised to Keith. Under Illinois State LAW there are 14 days after the final date of voting to adjudicate all election races. Please remember this. This is what our legislatures voted in. 14 days of ballots just popping into the system from being placed in mailboxes by no later than 4/4. Fundamentally, we can find out the voters who HAVE returned A BALLOT but systemically there is no way to find out WHO they voted for.
I agree with the anonyminity. I just disagree with the lag time of 14 days. We will continue to see this election race through the 14 days. We will report back to this page IF there are any changes.
