Most of my elberberries went to feeding the cedar waxwings and other birds, so this season the tonic will include Oregon grape and blue huckleberry. Let the simmering begin!

A word about labeling. A core principle around here is to use the earth’s resources as carefully as possible. When it comes to recycling jars, the simplest way to remove a sticker is to avoid placing glue on glass to begin with. We are currently prototyping this tag label for our krauts so it easy to reuse the jar for any purpose you have. We welcome your inputs we design the next iteration.
