I am overwhelmingly grateful to everyone who bought sticky buns from me this holiday season. I plan to sell them again next year too, so stay tuned! We see you winter ❄️

We’re just a couple days away from winter solstice, which for us, means a shift to a slower pace, soul-warming foods, and bundled up time outdoors soaking in the seasonal shift that brings endless moody beauty in this place we call home.

It took me a bit to embrace the extra long nights up here through winter, but with each pacing year, I go further beyond just acceptance and lean hard into appreciation.

So on Sunday, as we gather around a solstice fire with friends to share our favorite winter dishes and intentions for the season ahead, I’ll look forward to more cozy nights at home, extra sleep, a serious slowdown, snow play, brisk hikes, and the peace in knowing the days just get longer from here.

My winter intention: presence.
