Our church kept 1,095.77 lbs of plastic out of landfills and oceans! 🌍💙
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who donated, and an extra-big shoutout to those who packed, hauled, and delivered everything to be weighed. Your hard work truly made this possible!

We participated in the Trex NexTrex Plastic Film Recycling Challenge, a program where community organizations can earn a free bench by collecting at least 1,000 lbs of non-recyclable plastic film in 12 months. Eligible items include grocery bags, bread bags, Ziploc bags, and more. All collected film is taken to a designated drop-off site to be officially weighed.

Ok we are really feeling the holiday season in the air. We are getting ready for our Famous Annual Bake Sale and Bazaar, Saturday December 6th from 9am-2pm. Our vendor tables are filling up and we are collecting your homemade awesome crafts, and new and giftable items for our FLCC table. Come shop with us and pick up some delicious holiday treats! All proceeds will go to South Kitsap Helpline and the Community Aid Fund.

🌍Quilts and Kits are on Their Way!

This week, our beautiful quilts were packed up on Wednesday and loaded Thursday evening, ready to be sent around the world to those in need! 💙
A heartfelt thank you to our incredible Global Warmers for the love, time, and care stitched into every quilt and to everyone who helped gather supplies, assemble kits, pack, and ship each item. Your hands and hearts are truly spreading warmth across the globe! 🌎

Not only were quilts sent out, but kits were also assembled and shipped, bringing even more comfort and support to communities worldwide.
The kit items are gathered all year long, and kits are assembled on packing day …a true labor of love and teamwork!

👶 43 Baby Care Kits

That’s a total of 966 pounds of generosity and love sent to those in need!
