COMMUNITY ALERT: New Port Richey Police is searching for an individual that followed a group of children to a bus stop and stole a Toy Story back pack.

According to police, On 4/13/2023 at approximately 8:30am, the below pictured subject was observed on video surveillance following a group of elementary school children to their bus stop.

The bus stop is located at South Road and US Hwy 19 on the west side of the highway. The subject stood near the stop for approximately five minutes, removed the victims Toy Story Woody backpack and is observed returning southbound, past Imperial Drive.
