We will start the evening at 7pm with Qi Gong led by Dr. Kat Brady (.kat.brady). Dr. Kat, LAc. (they/them) has studied and practiced Qigong for over a decade and was raised studying the martial arts. They are a certified teacher from the Ling Gui International Healing Qigong school under the instruction of Master Liu He and received their doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. February 4th was the arrival of Yin Spring in the Daoist Lunar calendar. This is the time when the seeds pop open as the ground warms and the seedlings make their way toward the world above. This Qigong practice will connect us to the energy of the season as we awaken to this new year and prepare for the arrival of the Fire Horse.

Our DJ for this week is Kallum ()(https://soundcloud.com/kallum_music). Kallum blends contemporary music production with traditional instruments, vocals, and musical scales sampled from across our planet. His organic-electronic sounds amplify his wish to connect communities with the world’s palette through music, movement, and dance. He has shared stages with Desert Dwellers, David Starfire, Savej, Habitaat, Geometrae, Shaman’s Dream, and many more.

We will close with a Sound Healing from Sarah Rayne & Dr. Kat Brady (). These two have been collaborating in love, community building, and sound-crafting for nearly a decade. Sarah is a q***r witch, healing artist, priestess, and founder of Firebird Healing Arts & Glimmer Wellness Center. Dr. Kat, LAc., is an acupuncturist, Qigong instructor, student of Daoism and Chinese medicine, musician, and dancer. As the night comes to a close, Sarah and Kat will weave together ambient instrumentation, soul awakening rhythms, and medicine songs into a sonic journey that will awaken us to the energies of Spring and the coming of the Fire Horse year.
