Why I’m a Colorist
I am captivated by light and darkness, both literally and philosophically. We experience life with sunrises and sunsets as well as moments of hope & life and fear & loss.
We are surrounded by color which speaks to us subconsciously, emoting unconscious things driven by previous experiences. We feel differently in the presence of powerful or defiant reds, healthy or poisonous greens, or cerebral or powerless blues.
Life is about relationships and the relationship between light and color speak to the heart and soul. They make us feel and connect us to others around us through our shared life experiences. And I can’t help but want to be a part of that.
