The Sovereign Collection Fine Art Gallery

Last night at midnight the bell tolled for the history of The Sovereign Collection. On the eve of it's 25th anniversary, we closed the gallery to begin a new adventure in the art world. The spirits of many people past and present were there as I locked the door for the very last time. Get REady for a great summer with "Allure of the Automobile" at the Portland Art Museum, and "Pedal to the Metal" at the Oregon Historical Society. Both exhibits in the same block - both exhibits all summer long !!

As much as we hate to sell one of our all-time favorite American paintings, we have sent this painting to auction on April 28th. It should sell well, as they already report pleanty of inquiry's coming in about it. Only problem when it sells -we will have THEIR money, but the will have OUR painting....... oh well, that sense of regret is what has always made us stand out from the rest of the crowd.
