My mom starting running marathons in the 70s, just as women were officially allowed to enter races. All of her training partners were men. She did long runs in tube tops. Sports bras and women’s running shoes would eventually come, but she didn’t wait for that. She ran anyways. ✨

I’m taking a page from her book. Do I have any business signing up for a fall marathon? Absolutely not. Did I do it anyways? Sure did. ✨
